Skilled Nursing Facility
For patients who need special care, the St. Rose Skilled Nursing Facility is a 24-hour, 22-bed facility committed to providing quality nursing care and rehabilitation services at a higher level than traditional nursing homes. It’s designed for short-term stays; the average length of stay is 15 days.
Our staff’s goal is to rehabilitate patients to the point where they can progress to another level of care. Some of our services include:
- IV therapy
- Wound care
- Blood Transfusions
- Comfort Care (care for the terminally ill)
We also provide rehabilitative services, such as physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
The St. Rose Skilled Nursing Facility offers several advantages over other skilled nursing facilities. For example, we can provide immediate access to hospital services, including radiology and outpatient care procedures.
Because St. Rose Hospital is accredited by JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations), our Skilled Nursing Facility meets JCAHO stringent guidelines for hospitals.
