Do you understand the role potassium plays in keeping cells, nerves and muscles functioning properly?  Do you know what to do for a patient with a sodium imbalance?  At this class learn how potassium contributes to fluid and electrolyte balance, how the body regulates serum potassium levels and treatment options when imbalances occur.  In addition, learn about what contributes to fluid & electrolyte balance, as well as how the body regulates sodium balance.  Identifying how to care for patients with either potassium or sodium imbalances and keep your patient on the road to recovery.

4 Contact Hours will be provided (BRN #00366).

Course Fee:  $25.00 – St. Rose Hospital Employee

                          $40.00 – Non-Employee

  • Courses will be held in the Sherman L. Balch Pavilion Classroom.
  • Location of course is subject to change, if there is a change you will be notified.
  • Payment must be made at the time of registration to reserve your spot.
  • Employee’s fee is refundable upon completion of the course.
  • 48-hour notice of cancellation required for a refund or to reschedule.
